the blonde closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, twirling the blade in her hand. ( twirling things. it helped her think. ) she opened them again, formally bright blue eyes, now dulled and almost lifeless from what she’s been through, looked toward jemma.  ❛     wrong choice of words, i guess.     ❜

Jemma waited in the car with Bakshi, a bag full of weapons at her feet as he was running her through the family that she had been assigned to kill. She was to go in, take out the couple and then leave, finding her own way back to the Red Room. Before she left Bakshi had made sure that she was bruised and scruffy looking before kicking her out with just the backpack.

Jemma went to the house, convinced the couple that she needed somewhere to stay and while they were sleeping, she killed them. Simple enough. It wasn’t until she heard a baby cry that she started to panic. He heart racing, she found the nursery and picked up the infant, with the blood of his parents till on her hands. She rocked the baby until he stopped crying and without even thinking, wrapped him in a blanket and walked out of the house. There was nobody around and no police. The kill had been that quick and unnoticeable. She knew that she could walk back to the Red Room with no problem but, she feared for the babies warmth. Making her way to the nearest bus stop, she paid for the next bus and exited at the stop closest to the Red Room.

Her heart was still racing, she knew she couldn’t walk in with the baby, so bundling the baby under hear coat in a way that just looked as if she was just carrying her coat in a ball, she set off. She managed to get the baby past security and past her handler before getting to her room and letting out a sigh of relief.

B obbi had just gotten back from training, no missions in the last two days — was it a reward for doing a good job ?? — but her skin was still bruised and she still hand blood on her fingers. so, it was almost like no time passed. she saw grace doing her own training, she had no idea where daisy was, which scared her, and she knew jemma was on a mission of her own, which scared her more.

B ut as she was making her way to her bunk, she saw jemma entering, and the child almost managed a smile before seeing the look on jemma’s face. like she had done something wrong. not a look she would have after she killed someone, surprisingly. she noticed that the dark haired girl’s coat looked different, as if it were hiding something. her blue eyes turned dark and bobbi followed the girl to her room.

S he caught the door quietly before it shut, and she creeped toward jemma, a cold hand reaching for the girls shoulder, grabbing it, her fingers digging in. what did you do ??  she asked, her voice quiet, icy.
